As the saying goes, life is full of unexpectancy. Do u agree with it? Well, someone dearest to me first told me that a few weeks ago. As for myself, i definately do believe in it. Things or situation which i never thought would happen to myself did take place and even till now, certain things still seems like as if i was living in dreamland, hoping to never wake up for fear of more disappointments when i open my eyes.
As usual, many happenings in my life, though lots of changes within the space of a month! Haha! Probably cos i went to M'sia and then serving my re-service for a couple of weeks. Anyway, i wouldn't touch on those unhappy stuffs, rather focusing on the merrier side of things which have been the one bright spark of my life lately.
Well, to put it in simple terms, I fell in love with this amazing girl by the name of Angela. Nice name rite! She's beautiful, intelligent, witty, sociable, friendly(at times), fierce(haha) and lots more. Would take a long, long time just to fully describe her.
To be honest, i never ever would have imagined myself entering another relationship so soon after breaking up with Faith, but then again when destiny and fate comes into picture, u just can't seem to stop them from taking place. I mean anyone who has been in a relationship would know what the hell am i talking bout rite!
Even till today, though a few weeks has passed, i could still recall vividly the first time whereby we met each other. It was at a club called Butter Factory and i was being introduced to her thru Joshua. How did things unfold between us from the first time i ever laid my eyes on her till now still seems like though i've been living out a beautiful dream. That's why i've been praying hard that i would never ever wanna wake up to a nightmare.
Anyway, I would leave the details of how we got together and other sweet, romantic stuffs out cos that's purely and strictly confidential. However, and as usual pics would definately be attached! I was reading thru the various posts in manutdsg.com when i happened to chance upon a very meaningful post by our chairman Louis on the topic "love", hence really felt like sharing this long emotional message with everyone who have once loved and got hurt, to those who have not loved at all and to those who are just about to discover the beauty of this very magical feeling called L.O.V.E..
" Well, when you think of your past love, you may view it as a failure. However, when you find a new love, you view the past as a teacher. In the game of love, it doesn't really matter who won or who lost. What is important is you know when to hold on and when to let go!
You know you really love someone when you want him or her to be happy, even if his or her happiness means that you're not part of it. Everything happens for the best. If the person you love doesn't love you back, don't be afraid to love someone else again, for you'll never know unless you give it a try.

To reach for another is to risk involvement, to expose your feelings is to expose true self; to love is to risk not to be loved in return.
How to define love: fall but do not stumble, be constant but not too persistent, share and never be unfair, understand and try not to demand, hurt but never keep the pain.
Love is like a knife. It can stab the heart or it can carve wonderful images into the soul that always last for a lifetime. Love is supposed to be the most wonderful feeling. It should inspire you and give you joy and strength. But sometimes the things that give you joy can also hurt you in the end. Loving people means giving them the freedom that they choose to be and where they choose to be. For all the heartaches and the tears, for gloomy days and fruitless years, you should give thanks, for you know, that these were the things which helped you grow.
Loving someone means giving him or her the freedom to find their way, whether it leads towards you or away from you. Love is a painful risk to take but the risk must be taken no matter how scary or painful, for only then you'll experience the fullness of humanity and that is love. Only love can hurt your heart, fill you with desire and tear you apart. Only love can make you cry and only love knows why.
If you're not ready to cry, if you're not ready to take the risk, if you're not ready to feel the pain, then you're not ready to fall in love. There was a time in our lives when we became afraid to fall in love because every time we do, we get hurt, then I figured that's why it's called falling in love. When you decide to love, allow it to grow. When you promise to love, refuse to let it die! "
A big thank you to Louis for sharing this meaningful message with all of us. Somehow or rather i kinda agree to whatever that was said above in the message regarding the word LOVE. Or maybe the contents in it seems very realistic towards me, like as though it was echoing my relationships of the past and present.

Too many happenings in my life lately. Wondering when would i be able to wake up from this nightmare? Damn unlucky i guess. It's like nothing has been going well for me these past few days.
As i speak, i'm officially jobless. Tendered my resignation last Friday. Couldn't stand it anymore as i was feeling unhappy working there with each passing day. Reasons? There's plenty. Paywise, benefits given out, promotions etc. Although the colleagues there were very nice peeps, really one of the nicest bunch of people one could ever asked for to work with, at the end of the day after weighing the pros and cons, i decided to go for the latter. As for the issues regarding my personal life, i had arguments with my mum as usual, especially now that i'm no longer working. Though i'm able to understand from her point of view why she keeps nagging at me (all mums in the world are like that), but i still wish that she's able to leave me alone for this testing period of time, allowing me the opportunity to settle my own probs.
I also do admit that i'm having my fair share of problems with Faith lately. Seems that both of us have reached a standstill point whereby we sometimes do not know what each other is actually thinking about. Maybe we really do not understand each other that well afterall. Shall take one step at a time and see how the situation unfolds i guess.
Anyway, despite all the various problems out there, there turned out to be a silver lining for me. Something strange and weird happened that till now it's very hard to explain it out in words. Totally undescribable. A very magical feeling that brought out a smile from my gloomy face. Hope it continues but we shall see, cos it doesn't pay to be a greedy person in life. To be followed...

Finally managed to sort out my pics after sometime. Anyway, to keep it simple and short, i have since created a new slide show for my blog showing pics of me over the years, thus removing the previous ones. Though there's only a slideshow now instead of the previous 2 slideshows, nevertheless i'm much more satisfied with the outcome this time round. Seems much neater too!

Friday the 13th was supposed to be a fearful and scary day for most since i believed that when we were all young we did catch or hear horror stories of what would happened on the day itself. However, on this fateful day in the month of June 2008, i celebrated 3 of my UtdSg brothers birthday at Dbl O club.
They were namely Shawal, Joshua and Ryan. Actually their birthdays were all on different days but since all 3 of them were in the same mth hence we decided to rope in all 3 and helped them celebrate together. Anyway, for more details of what happened that nite do look at the countless of pics being posted.

Gab started the ball-rolling as he jio us all to drink. Well, the first of many drinks to come that nite.
Soon after, the 1st competition that nite to be held. The 3 birthday boys had to each drink a glass of graveyard (yucks) and the last to drink finish it would have to pay a penalty by drinking another glass. Wtf!
3 of them preparing to drink the yuckiest drink ever. Thank god i'm not 1 of them.
As they drank, all of us around them kept cheering them on. Well, who's gonna be the winner & the loser as we waited with much anticipation for that few seconds.
Well, the winner is.. All 3 of them!! Think they already made some sort of a pact as all 3 of them finished drinking at the same time. Smells fishy. Anyway, the 3 of them are awarded the prize of a drinking champion medal.

Well, as it was 1-for-1 promo for the graveyard, and as there wasn't any loser hence Gab sort of forfeited to drink the remaining graveyard. Looking at the pic, i'm wondering why am i so happy? Haha!!
In my opinion, the worthy person to be called the true drinking champion would have to be Josh. This man is a monster when it comes to downing booze after booze. Never have i ever seen someone who's able to down a mug of beer in like 2-3 seconds!! Simply astonishing hence the drinking champion medal is awarded to him deservingly. Well done bro. Proud of u.
What's next? Time to target someone else, but who? Would it be Glenn? Since the pic above depicts some of us bullying him like we always do for fun. Well, let me tell u that it wasn't to be him that nite. Stay tuned...
As we searched for our target, the 2 gals present that nite, Sharon & Jessie tried to avoid our attention by using the cusions available to hide themselves. Don't they know that whatever they do wouldn't help if we really intended to attack them? Haha!!
Well, our prey has arrived. Mr Desmond aka Ah Wang. Think he sort of knows that something bad gonna happened as he's very afraid of us.
